BREWDOG LEICESTER OPENS TODAY!

The East Midlands has many craft beer fans, but until recently they have had relatively few bars in which to reward their hop-primed tastebuds (when compared with other regions of the UK, at least). That’s why we’re hugely exited to announce that our latest bar for our thirsty home islands opens today – yes, BrewDog Leicester is here!
Located at 8 Friar Lane, mid-way between the town hall and the castle, it’s a fantastic city centre site which we are sure will swiftly become a centrepiece of the Leicester drinking scene. Our bar is two minutes away from the Cathedral – recent resting place of King Richard III – for any craft beer fans whose penchant for history leaves them feeling parched!
If you’re more into The End of History than British History, our Leicester bar offers twenty taps of the freshest curated craft beer you can possibly get, ably served by Matt and his amazing Leicester team. There’s even a dedicated beer tasting room for those who want to get up close and personal to every aspect of their favourite beverage.
In terms of food, BrewDog Leicester will be focusing on a number of cool areas. Burgers, gourmet hot dogs and rye bread sandwiches (with full vegetarian options) will also be ably supported by some amazing coffee, for those needing a daytime lift. And speaking of which, the bar will also be opening for BrewDog breakfasts at weekends, from 10am!
BrewDog Leicester opens today at 12 noon, so head on down and give Matt and the team a cheerful hello, have a go on the vintage pinball machines, and enjoy some amazing craft beer.
For those of you in the rest of the UK, don’t forget we’re still in the midst of our 2015 UK BrewDog bar hunt; if you’ve seen a location that would make an amazing BrewDog bar, then let us know – it could score you a new local and £1,000!
