COMING SOON: BREWDOG OUTPOST ITAEWON

Craft beer has few boundaries, both in terms of the beers themselves and the places where people enjoy them, and as people continue to reject industrial mass-produced beer in favour of the alternative it is becoming a global movement. Our amazing network of International Bars sit proudly on the frontlines, bringing craft beer to the people like never before. And our latest overseas bar isn’t just bringing the beer – it is also brewing the beer.

Our first International Outpost opens on Friday 10th August. Hello South Korea!

Since we opened BrewDog Roppongi in Tokyo four years ago, the craft beer scene in Asia has exploded – and one of its new centres is Seoul. This 21st Century megacity is a metropolis like no other, and we are psyched to have found a location there to get more beer into the hands of those who seek it out. We are coming to Itaewon – global beer for Seoul’s global village.

Located at 124-1 Itaewon-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, 04349 we are heading for the region of the Korean capital renowned for nightlife and eating options from around the world. Itaewon has a unique vibe and a perfect aspect, just north of the Han River and south of Mount Namsan and the Namsan Park. With a metro station nearby and easy connections to the mainline Seoul station, we are ready to rock.

BrewDog Itaewon will be pouring from 25 taps of craft beer, featuring beers from ourselves and local Korean breweries who are doing amazing things in the country. We’ll also have our deli fridges bursting with chilled craft beer from around the world for people to sit in and enjoy or take away when they need to head off to a party or head home for the evening.

But the main thing we are excited about for our latest bar is the 10 HL brewkit. Following hot on the heels of our first ever Outpost at Tower Hill in London we are planting a flag for freshly-brewed craft beer in Seoul. Brewer SJ Min will be on hand to turn out a selection of super-fresh exclusive beers for the bar, able to be enjoyed alongside the regulars from our Ellon brewhouse.

As well as the beer, BrewDog Itaewon will be serving up a range of local Korean dishes, as well as our legendary pizza, burger and wings menu. Both beer and food can be ordered up outside when the weather allows – the bar also has a large external area of seating, perfect for taking a break and watching the world go by in this city that never skips a beat.

Our latest Outpost means South Korea becomes the third country where you can enjoy locally brewed BrewDog beer – and Itaewon is set to open next week on Friday 10th August. GM Alex and his team of dedicated followers of craft will be on hand to serve up amazing beer in our new flagship for Asia.
