The craft beer scene in the United States is an amazing thing to behold. Over 5,000 breweries dot the landscape from sea to shining sea, with tens of thousands of different beers finding their way into the hands of millions of people. It is inspirational, energising and a bastion of creativity. And now in the biggest project over the ten-year history of BrewDog, we have arrived to play our own small part in it. We have finally touched down and are ready to rock and roll.

DogTap Columbus opens at 12 noon today, Monday February 20th.

In the Discovery City you can now find a dozen taps of craft beer from ourselves and curated guests from the Columbus area, Ohio and further afield. And this is just the start; we are going to double this offering to 24 taps when the BrewDog brewhouse is fully operational very soon. To celebrate the doors opening we have air-freighted fresh BrewDog beer direct from our kegging line in Scotland to give our new neighbours the ultimate chance to find out what we are about.

At opening we will be pouring Dead Pony Club, 5AM Saint, Jet Black Heart, Elvis Juice, Cocoa Psycho and, of course, the beer that started it all – our flagship Punk IPA. Plus we will be serving up a range of wines and liquor, sodas from Boylan’s Bottling Company, and freshly roasted barista coffee. We have dialled in a Colombian Iquira Yellow Bourbon as our house blend from the amazing local Columbus roaster One Line Coffee.

DogTap Columbus can be found at 96 Gender Road, Canal Winchester OH 43110 and is easily accessed from the city by road or by bike. It has a range of different seating options ranging from full table service to bar stools for anyone wanting to chat to our amazing Cicerone-trained staff as they go about their work. DogTap also has a craft beer restaurant serving up freshly-cooked-to-order burgers, salads, pizzas, awesome bar bites and sharing boards.

Our taproom features a gaming area with epic shuffleboard and pinball machines to while away the time between beers. Our crewmembers staffing DogTap are on hand to help you in any way they can, so if you have any questions about BrewDog, our plans for Ohio and the US or anything about our beer – just ask! We will be running beer schools and tours led by our team too, to give visitors a better chance to get a feel for how we create our beers and exactly how we want them to taste.

DogTap Columbus opens its doors for the first time at 12 noon today, Monday February 20th and will then be open 11am-Midnight (Monday to Friday) and 10am-Midnight (Saturday and Sunday). We can’t wait to welcome the people of the Buckeye State and beyond to our taproom and to thank them for supporting us as we have worked on the greatest adventure in BrewDog’s history. The welcome we have received in Ohio has been nothing short of incredible – and from 12 today, we are ready and waiting to return the favour.
