Every penny of this investment will be put back into the business to help BrewDog grow even faster for those beer-loving men and women who have become Equity Punks. But in order to meet the growing demand for our craft beer, what plans do we have for the money raised?

Shares in BrewDog cost £23.75 each, and the minimum investment is 2 shares for £47.50. We are aiming to raise £10M but have a stretch goal of five times that figure, and the more we raise, the more truly epic projects we can undertake for BrewDog supporters around the world. Let’s take a look at some of the ideas we have in play…

The First £10M

With halfway gone to our initial goal we are psyched that we can now start to green-light some of the amazing things we have in mind. From fully unleashing the BrewDog Overworks (stand by for an update there soon) to adding to our crew, our process systems to the big one – another Ellon brewhouse. We still can’t keep up with demand and the money our Equity Punks invest will help us reach more people than ever with super-fresh Ellon-brewed craft beer!

The Stretch

Anything we raise above that initial target will be used for some truly exciting projects. We have been planning Equity for Punks V for ages, so have had time to think exactly how we can raise the roof whilst growing BrewDog for those who have become shareholders. So here are those plans.

Brew Dogs TV Network (£2M) – Our US-based show Brew Dogs is the longest-running and most-watched TV show about beer, ever. We want to bring more of it to you, with a digital channel focusing on craft beer from all walks of life.

Fermentation Vessels (£4M) – Martin has epic plans to expand our tank farm in Ellon, to give more capacity than ever for the dual brewhouses (plus our original 100HL kit). With demand in Europe soaring, we need the space to make the beer come to life!

UK BrewDog Bars (£3M) - We now have 50 bars around the world, but the UK is where the majority of our BrewDog bars are located. Since our Oxford site opened we have several more in the pipeline and the investment from our shareholders will see these open.

New Warehouses (£3M) – Nothing sexy about warehouses, but boy do we need them. With more investment in equipment and tanks we need more room for the beer – and also the spirits. We are looking to build a dedicated LoneWolf barrel warehouse to age our whisky.

London BrewPub (£2M) – As we announced last month we are looking to open a legend in the making in the City. Adding a London BrewDog BrewPub (our first) will give even more super-fresh beer for the most thirsty of Europe’s beer cities.

International BrewPubs (£10M) – But we see London as just the start. We can reach even more people around the world and turn them around to the wonders of craft beer if we brew it for them, in their backyard. We are taking our BrewPub plans global.

BrewDog Asia (£10M) – Shipping our craft beer from Scotland to the other side of the world is a huge challenge. So we are looking to construct a BrewDog brewery in the Far East – potentially Shanghai – to satisfy this incredible market with the incredible beer it deserves.

BrewDog Australia (£5M) – And on the same lines we are committed to doing the same for our BrewDog supporters down under. We are now 99% sure of a location for our Australian brewhouse – stand by soon for the announcement – this project is going to be awesome.

Expanded Pilot Kit (£1M) – We still love to experiment, and Fabio and his team would work wonders on a larger brewkit. As we expand our mainstream brewhouse, the desire to try new things grows at the same rate. A new Pilot Kit would foster innovation like never before.

These projects have been created with a single aim – to grow BrewDog for those who have become shareholders. Equity Punks are the heart and soul of our business and we are proud to be an alternative company owned by over 55,000 people who love craft beer every bit as much as we do. Every penny of the amount raised in Equity for Punks V will be re-invested in BrewDog so that we can make these ideas become a reality, and continue to make other people as passionate about craft beer as we are.
