What do you get when you bring together the UK's fastest growing brewery and the oldest brewery in the world? What happens when you throw a team of hop-crazed brewing geeks in a room with some of the most artisanal, classically-trained beer experts on the planet?
 
The answer? India Pale Weizen.

This is one of the most exciting collaboration beers we have ever had the pleasure of creating. We invited the brewers from Weihenstephan, the oldest brewery in the world, to our brewery to concoct a co-created beer of epic proportions. Their beers are a staple for our bars, as their outstanding Hefe is the perfect example of an age-old style done right. Really really right.

The resulting beer takes both our signature styles, IPA and hefeweizen, to create a whole new beery entity. The beer rocks a classic Hefeweisse base of wheat and Munich malt with aromas of banana and clove and a distinctive trademark haziness. On top of this we have layered a tapestry of US citrus hop character from Centennial and Simcoe.

This beer is the perfect symbiosis of traditional and modern brewing.
 
We are taking collaborative brewing and stepping it up a notch. With CollabFest last weekend and now our collab with the oldest brewery on planet earth now available from our online shop, it's time to truly immerse ourselves in partnerships with some of our most esteemed peers!
