Meet the BrewDog Glasgow Team

say hi to some craft beer superstars.........
Martin Keith, A.K.A. Spartan Martin Ginja Ninja is our General Manager and ringleader for our three-ring circus of nonsense and tasty beer. Armed with a near encyclopedic knowledge of music, he commands the bar playlist with a capable hand, and is responsible for introducing a modicum of musical culture to the rest of us plebians who work there. Martin naturally takes charge of our live music every Tuesday, Sunday, and selected Thursdays, especially since everyone else is no longer allowed following the unfortunate Morris Dancers incident.
By day he keeps us all in check; by night he fights crime in the cities of Scotland, dressed as a ninja panther. He once single handedly rounded up a gang of youths by tunefully playing his lute, summoning angry pigeons, and brandishing the original copy of the bible. Martin is often confused with the Guess Who character 'Richard', which has led to several unsavory scenes of flicking.
Neil Scotney is our Assistant Manager, world bar gypsy, plumbing technician, owl enthusiast, and secret millionaire. A multifaceted team member, Neil is good at fixing vans, cooking food, plunging toilets and holding beer tastings, and has recently even taken to washing his hands in between. Scientists believe that Neil owes his superior powers to a combination of unkempt hair and super-tight jeans, and that without them he would be a mere mortal. He's a big advocate of 'The Scotney Diet', which consists of bacon cobs and tea (followed by tea). Neil enjoys nothing better in his spare time than going for a run or teaching contemporary dance, occasionally multitasking the two. He once tried to eat an entire horse, but then realised he wasn’t as hungry as he'd first thought.
Matt Corden is a real life bear. While we can’t be sure exactly when he was domesticated, we can say that he has since become very good at talking, shaving, and not crapping in the woods. Somewhere along his way he also became quite skilled at all things 'computer', thus making him the logical target for our shouts of “Matt, I've broken the internet again.”
When not playing tech guru, Matt performs the job of duty manager, where he can be found when Martin and Neil are busy with beer 'research'. Don't be put off by his ursine background. He's super friendly, and he almost certainly won't eat you. Probably. Unless you smell like salmon.
Victo Scott is our totes amazeballs, curious noise-making home brew mistress. She commands a variety of sounds containing a considerable amount of vowels, most of which are at pitches that only dogs can hear. She and her partner Chris create some belting home brew masterpieces. It is believed in some circles that she has an addiction to the Beastie Boys, of which there is sadly only one known cure, (more Beasties). Currently studying law stuff, Victo is currently training for a career in the courthouse, a decision that makes all of us at the bar very proud. If more lawyers had an intricate knowledge of high ABV beers, the world would surely be a nicer place. Victo was previously the manager of a well known snail sanctuary in Peru.
Lynn Bremner, calligrapher extraordinaire, is one of the old guard. She's been with BrewDog bars since day one, and is currently residing in Glasgow as the bar's resident artistic expert and draw-good-er. Most of the fantastic artwork of BrewDog Glasgow stems from her deft chalk-wielding skills, which may or may not be due to her enormous hands. Lynn is always a fun sight around the bar as she is good for a laugh, and there remain to this day no documented cases of her saying no to “fancy just one more beer”. Lynn's life ambition is to invent post-post-cool, and start a collection of cats and cat shaped objects.
Maeve O'Neill is our amazing Irish lady, who rides a bicycle. She came to work at BrewDog after leaving a job with Scottish Electric, where she powered an entire town for three years with her sunny disposition. Physiotherapist by day and burger-making, drink-pouring superwoman by night, Maeve is a delight about the bar, and is a living breathing advert for the benefits of the Weetabix breakfast. Look out gentleman, because she is vastly better than you at football. Also, be sure to keep your wits about you if you ever see her wearing leopard-print trousers. It’s a clever disguise for the fact that she is, in reality, part leopard.
Andy Davies is our newest team member. A “rescue” bartender, Andy came to us after we saved him from a cruel fate in voguish clothing retail. With a cheesy grin and a sparkle in his eye, he can entertain bar patrons for hours with our legendary beers. In his spare time, he likes to blog about music and promote music events across Glasgow. He also bears a resemblance to a young Seve Ballesteros, without the suntan. Andy is a proud member of the 'Save Preston Bus Station' campaign.
Greg Does Exisit, he was just not there the day the photos got taken!
Greg Benson, also known as the world's tallest man, is employed almost solely for his ability to reach things on high shelves. Greg says things funnily because he's from America. Land of the free. And watermelons. For decades now, a country leading the way in a craft we’re all very passionate about – pornography. Greg is currently studying for a masters in creative writing and is a cunning linguist. Out of work, he is unbeaten at Connect4, and has a severe trampoline allergy. For a summer project Greg recently counted to infinity - Twice.
Go see them at BrewDog Glasgow, 1397 Argyle Street.....
